Applications for absentee ballots are available for New Rochelle registered voters who will not be able to vote in person on May 15, 2018. The application may be downloaded from our website or obtained in person at the office of the School District Clerk, Central Administration Building (City Hall), Second Floor, 515 North Avenue, New Rochelle, NY 10801. The deadline for the School District Clerk to receive a completed absentee ballot application, if the ballot is to be mailed to the voter, is May 8, 2018, 5:00 p.m.and May 14, 2018, 5:00 p.m. if the ballot is to be issued personally to the voter. Those voters who are already registered as Permanently Sick and Disabled with the Westchester County Board of Elections will automatically receive an absentee ballot from the office of the School District Clerk of the City School District of New Rochelle. Absentee ballots are expected to be ready approximately on Friday, May 4, 2018. All absentee ballots must be returned to the School District Clerk, 515 North Avenue, New Rochelle, NY 10801, no later than 5:00 p.m., on May 15, 2018 in order to be canvassed. Information for Prospective School Board Candidates
Information packets for School Board prospective candidates are available at the Office of the Clerk and Secretary to the Board of Education, Central Administration Building (City Hall), 515 North Avenue, Second Floor, New Rochelle, NY 10801, tel. No.914-576-4219, e-mail: email@example.com. Nominating petitions, signed by at least one hundred persons qualified to vote at the Annual School Board Election on May 15, 2018, must be filed by Wednesday, April 25, 2018, 5 p.m. at the Office of the Clerk and Secretary to the Board of Education, at the aforementioned address.
